Creative Strategy

Mile 80 started as a production partner - coming in after creative had been decided. We’d receive designs or storyboards and our team would execute against that. However, as time has gone by, we’ve started to come into events and other creative projects earlier and earlier. We’ve had a seat at the creative table, and it’s our favorite way to collaborate.

One of the biggest stressors in content creation can be pitching an idea to a client that you’re not sure will work. OR - you’re not sure the schedule works, or better yet, the budget. When you bring Mile 80 in early you get the guarantee that the ideas will work, on schedule, and on budget - every single time.

Process

  1. Exploratory Call - We chat through the potential project and what vision exists for it so far
  2. Idea Workshop - We spend a week and two calls working together to take a business need and convert it into a creative execution
  3. Client clearance - We present ideas to the client and hopefully, fingers crossed, get one cleared right away
  4. Some other service - It’s rare for M80 to not produce the ideas we workshop with your team, and this the final step is moving from creative strategy and into creative execution whether it’s video or motion.

Events, campaigns, and content all rely on an underlying idea. While ideas aren’t everything - many folks undervalue you them in favor of simply believing in the value of execution. But - a bad idea will always result in a poor result. Our work can only be as high of quality as the concepts they start from. Mile 80 believes this through and through and desires to be at the creative table as early as we are invited. We like to think we have some great ideas to wow your customers, but we know we offer the secret weapon of only developing concepts that work within the schedule and budget of your client.
