Upfronts is a week where all the biggest advertisers and film and TV companies come together in NYC to discuss what’s coming next. 2024 was Amazon’s first Upfront and because of that they wanted to make it count. Mile 80 worked with agency partner Freeman to build a 90 minute show from scratch and design the stage for the show’s Keynote.
From site visits to scenic design. From storyboard mockups to full animation - M80 led creative alongside Freeman for the entirety of this show. There were many stakeholders and many changes, but throughout the process the M80 team stayed on target and ensured a successful show for the Freeman team and Amazon themselves.
Pillars. Lots of pillars. Amazon Upfronts in 2024 took place in a venue with a lot of elements obstructing the audience view. This led to a need to constantly know what the final result would look like.
Luckily, Mile 80 pushed for the early deployment of Event Playground on this project - ensuring that all content was delivered in a pixel perfect manner.
Mile 80 was grateful to get to participate at such a granular level creatively for such a huge event.
